The Polish liquefied petroleum gas market is currently the largest (next to Turkey) in Europe, with annual consumption of around 2.5 million tonnes. Autogas accounts for the largest share of sales – almost 75 per cent of the total market, about 10 per cent are cylinders, while about 15 per cent are tank installations. At the same time, our country is the European leader when it comes to autogas consumption, as well as the number of vehicles powered by this type of fuel – at the moment there are 3.5 million cars powered by LPG on Polish roads.
